I made a prediction around a year ago that minimal drum and bass would hit the scene in a big way. I’m so glad to say that my prediction was right. Minimal drum and bass still remains as one of my favourite sub-genres within drum and bass, and lies as a testament to the versatility…
Easy there guys. Long time no speak, sorry about that! So yeah, this site hasn’t really had much going on in the last few months or so, we can blame that on focusing mainly on the YouTube channel I guess Well, since we last spoke, we’ve hit 2000 subscribers and grown even further. Over 200…
That’s right, if you haven’t seen it yet, we’ve released our first podcast! http://onlydrumandbass.podomatic.com/
Here’s the latest upload on our channel:
Fable – Lavender Fields
It’s a beautiful liquid track by one of our official promotional partners – Fable. Go check it out now! It’s also out on Brainz Recordings.
I figured out today that even though our channel has been running for over two whole months, I have personally only been helping with it for a meagre 24 days. However, in this time, I have seen it grow from roughly 30 subscribers to a staggering 326! At this rate, we may one day reach 1000 and then… who knows?
Hey. We are feverishly working both on the channel and the site at the moment. We hope you enjoy what we are doing. I am putting this post up to show you our latest upload and also to test a new youtube player. Please comment on whether you prefer this or the original player. Cheers.
It’s come to my attention over the past month or so how much my music taste has changed – it’s more diverse now in so many different ways than it was a few years ago. Even just by looking through my iTunes with ‘date added’ set as the parameter, I can scroll down and see the ‘evolution’ of my music taste.
First track on my library? Cyanide – Metallica.
Latest track on my library? Twin Galaxies – Shapeshifter
As I play guitar, I’m still into some of my rock music, particularly blues (of which I know I’ll never hate, blues is one of my favourite genres) but it’s interesting to see the change over the years.
So, here we are, on the interwebz. We’re proud to announce that as well as our YouTube page, we now bring you our official site! This means you’ll get so much more out of OnlyDrumAndBass.
